Please, note that Alterist only takes a small commission on sales and therefore cannot provide free shipping and free returns.
As all sellers ship their own items shipping times may vary due to the location of the seller. However, our sellers aim to post all items within 2 working days.
Shipping prices will be calculated based on the buyer and seller’s location during the checkout process.
For any questions regarding shipping times and costs, please email: info@alterist.com.
Please, note that the product price and shipping costs do not include taxes and import duties for orders over £150, these must be handled by the individual customer.
Orders over £150, may be subject to VAT and Duty charges on the receipt of your package. You can see the seller's location on their profile and the breakdown of VAT chargers based on countries here.*
You may be required to provide additional information to UPS/DPD when your order arrives. This varies per country/region and will be updated regularly. We suggest checking with your local country’s latest import fee rules before placing an order, as we are unable to calculate exact customs fees due to the changing nature of this at this point in time.

At Alterist, we are passionate about reducing the amount of impact fashion has on the environment. For this reason, we ask that you refer to our sizing chart, read the product description properly and message the seller and ask them sizing questions prior to purchase, as this will help to minimise the CO2 emissions that come with returns.
If you do need to return or exchange an item, the seller you purchased your order from is the best person to help you. Each seller on Alterist manages their own orders and makes decisions about cancellations, refunds, and returns. This information will typically be specified on their profile.
Please note that sellers aren’t required to accept returns, exchanges, or provide a refund. They will state on their profile if they choose to accept refunds or not.
If the seller is willing to accept returns, be sure to settle on the below details in a message before returning the item:
Where you should send the return
What time frame does the seller wish to receive the return
Who will be responsible for the cost of return shipping, if not written in the shop's policies
What shipping method to use
If the seller doesn’t allow refunds or returns, you may be able to open a case with Alterist.
Cases can be opened if:
You never receive your order
Your order wasn’t as it was described on Alterist.
If the seller is unable to help you, send an email to info@alterist.com with your order number, date of purchase and any other details you think are relevant and we will investigate and take the appropriate action. You can read more about your rights here.
