The designs for each Buiseid garment are dictated by the waste materials that I find. It’s an organic process of manipulating the found materials to elevate them away from their original state, this could be through applique, embellishment, dying or quilting. As a self proclaimed gamer, influences from otherworldly fantasies also creep into my design process. I often find myself using games to escape reality which is not too dissimilar to how editorials and runway shows seek to transport the viewers.
