In 2018 after Cambrai moved to London, city for his beginning on a more focused path towards fashion and, more precisely, up-cycling. Cambrai's art is characterised by a unique style, where the practice of sewing encounters the canvas. The needle and thread substitute brush and paint, creating a particular effect that challenges the perception beyond the typical two-dimensional form. The artworks are constituted by layers and voluminous waves of coloured lines and spots. This practice encounters his fashion design, and you can immediately recognise the artistic mould that he also uses in the painting. The aesthetic transmitted by Cambrai's clothing is evocative of the street art style, characterised by shiny colourful lines which draw vectorial images.
