From second-hand jewelry, I create unique ornaments. I look for hidden treasures that carry a story on second-hand markets. Then I rework these pieces manually in my Brussels workshop. I only buy jewelry that is hallmarked in 925 or 835 silver (if more vintage), to guarantee the quality of my pieces. Once the vintage pieces have been sorted and cleaned, I dismantle and transform them to create authentic pieces that combine a new and old aesthetic.
Creating a necklace is to me like telling a tale. For this reason, my manufacturing process is slow, because each piece of the necklace must bring something to the work. I place a lot of importance on this phase in order to create pieces that are sensitive, strong and aesthetic all at once.
I also work with lost wax, making rings and different ornaments as much as possible with recycled silver sterling.
