Nou.Niss means “it’s not new” in Persian. We are an upcycling brand from Bielefeld, Germany that focuses on revaluing clothing that is not new. We use materials that are sorted out by local thrift stores due to minor damages and would otherwise be discarded. All rescued garments are high in quality, and contain a minimum of 70% natural fibres, like wool or silk. Our designs are inspired by the flaws of their material, by using them as the basis of our hand embroidery. That’s how we show our love for repair and redesign.
