PATAFISIC RANDOM KNIT project born in 2018 by designer and knitter Brenda Cecchi. As a reflection on knitwear manufacturing process, where calculation is fundamental, the project instead aims to challenge the act of knitting as spontaneous and emotional modus operandi., like the spider making its own web. Color block sweater and mesh-like sweaters are inspired by geometry, chaos and fragility. Brenda teaches and designs knitwear collections since mid 90’s always having an experimental approach and a strong interests towards handcraft and industry. PATAFISIC knits are unique hand made pieces, from selected fine yarns upcycled from deadstocks in Italy. Every piece is numbered and can be reproduced considering that it will be different from the original one, we have few items available.
