Wyrd Grl is a one-woman slow fashion label creating one-of-a-kind clothing, bags and accessories from rescued vintage and second-hand textiles. Rooted in folklore, nostalgia and the strange beauty of small-town Britain, Wyrd Grl’s work imagines a world where the ordinary becomes magical: overgrown gardens, net curtains, working men’s shirts and childhood stories reimagined into romantic, unruly pieces to be worn and lived in. Each piece is designed and made by hand with an emphasis on thoughtful construction, material history and the joyful possibilities of making something new from what already exists.
