Fabricated in a durable poly-cotton twill, this double-pleat-front combat-chino has an elasticated waist-band & a self-fabric waist cord. It features 2 chino-style front-pockets, 2 rear welt-pockets and 2 thigh patch-flap pockets. It has cuff adjusters, a fake fly-front and is finished with tonal tobacco topstitching. Built to last, the insides are fully finished (no raw edges). Wash at 40 degrees, do not tumble dry. Model is 6ft 2" and usually wears a 32" pant
Product story
This piece was made from a combination of 2 unwanted/vintage raincoats found in a vintage shop. They were carefully taken apart and re-imagined as a contemporary combat chinos. The cuff tabs of the coat were used as ankle adjusters and the front pockets were repurposed back pockets. 90% of the fabric was used - creative pattern cutting skills were employed to ensure minimal waste: hence the unusual and unique construction. Only two were made.
